Jennifer L. Williams

An accomplished trial and appellate attorney, Jenn quickly evaluates a case’s strengths and identifies its points of weakness. She pinpoints the issues that matter and communicates them in a way that persuades a court and connects with a jury. She’s litigated cases involving healthcare fraud, money laundering, deprivation of civil rights, and customs, tax, and RICO violations, to name a few. She’s represented individuals and entities targeted by state and federal authorities, such as the Department of Justice and the Securities & Exchange Commission, and has developed a strong civil litigation practice. With a results-oriented mindset and a genuine ability to connect with people, she is a strong, passionate advocate for her clients.

Before co-founding Summa LLP, Jenn served as an Assistant United States Attorney for nearly eight years, having been hired through the nationally competitive Department of Justice Honors Program. While at the U.S. Attorney's Office, she tried numerous jury trials, argued several cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and directed a wide variety of complex grand jury and wiretap investigations. After leaving the U.S. Attorney's Office, Jenn was a named partner at a Los Angeles litigation boutique.

In 2018, Jenn founded Summa LLP. Among other accomplishments, she has been recognized by Super Lawyer nearly every year since.
